腎上腺是一個坐在腎臟上面的腺體。

它掌管了體內幾個重要的機制:
- 血壓
- 血糖
- 精神/情緒
- 性荷爾蒙
- 壓力處理
- 生理時鐘
可以說,他就是我們的「元氣」。
腎上腺疲倦(adrenal exhaustion)是什麼?
腎上腺疲倦意即,腎上腺受傷後所處的狀態,用於區分它受傷的程度。
腎上腺疲倦通常有三階段:階段1、階段2、階段3
階段2比階段1傷得深。
階段3比階段2傷得深。
腎上腺受傷時可能出現的症狀為:
- 月經不規律、月經症狀
- 肌肉無力
- 心跳加速
- 心律不整
- 血壓不對
- 膚色加深
- 對食物鹹淡的口味改變
- 水腫
- 短暫神經癱瘓
- 低鉀(怎麼喝水都不夠)
- 味覺改變(對食物和水)
- 疲倦
- 麻痺
- 抽筋
- 皮膚癢
- 僵硬
- 頭痛
- 因為肌肉無法放鬆而睡眠出問題
- 姿勢變換快速時產生頭暈
- 易崩潰、情緒暴走
- 嚴重時出現精神症狀如精神分裂症、妄想症、強迫症等或是心肌梗塞
